All Risk and Machinery Breakdown Insurance Seminar

LEA and Advanta Global’s “All Risk and Machinery Breakdown Insurance Seminar” will be held in Miami on October 10th and 11th, 2019.
For the fourth consecutive year LEA and Advanta Global organize an insurance technical seminar in Miami, which on previous occasions dealt with Construction Insurance, and Renewable Energy generation Insurance, and featured participants from this city, as well participants from several countries of Latin America.
On this occasion the seminar will address Machinery Break Down coverage as a complement to the All Risk Operation policy for industrial plants and power-generation. The course will analyze characteristics and risks of main types of machines and industries in Latin America, the design of coverages and their scope, the most common errors in underwriting these risks, and how policies respond to claims, by working on exercises based on real cases.
It will be imparted by Engineer Tomás Fourcade, Director of Advanta Southern Cone office in Buenos Aires, who has more than 20 years of experience adjusting technical claims in power generation plants and industries throughout Latin America.
The seminar is part of an annual training cycle that LEA has been organizing for more than 20 years throughout Latin America. In 2019 it has been held in 7 countries and complemented with two online course receive participants from more than 15 countries. The geographical and curricular diversity of participants representing policyholders, insurers, reinsurers, brokers; staff from commercial, underwriting and claims departments; enable the seminar to become an opportunity to exchange experiences and reflect on market trends.
