Hemispheric Re Group, L.L.C. (HRG) is pleased to announce the hiring of Álvaro J. Gabaldón as its new Managing Director.
Álvaro brings extensive insurance and reinsurance experience to the group. Over his nearly 30-year career in the international insurance and reinsurance fields, he has worked in a variety of underwriting and management roles at several respected insurance organizations including The Hartford Steam Boiler Insurance Company, Liberty International Underwriters, and ASPEN Insurance Latin America, where he was most recently head of Energy and Construction for the Latin America region until 2016.
Álvaro will be based at the HRG offices in Miami, Florida. He will oversee all aspects of HRG’s business, strategy, client relationships and operations.
