Advanta Global Services announces new office in Mexico

We are delighted to announce the opening of a new ADVANTA office in Mexico City, Mexico.

 

This strategic decision will enhance our capability to better service our clients in this regional insurance hub. The opening of ADVANTA Mexico is part of our strategy to expand our global footprint and better meet our clients’ growing needs in Latin America.

The new office is headed by Edgardo Velásquez, a professional with over 15 years’ experience working in the insurance industry. Edgardo has handled large and complex claims and developed a unique set of skills in management and claims handling. Prior to Advanta, he held a successful position in a global loss adjusting firm. Edgardo’s specialties include Industrial All Risk, Property, Marine, Liability, Financial Lines and Cybersecurity.

Joining Edgardo will be Miguel Ángel Sánchez who has 18 years’ experience in the insurance industry. He has held management positions in several insurance companies, including almost 10 years within the Mexican Federal Electricity Commission where he gained extensive experience in the energy sector. He specialises in claims related to Fire, Civil Liability, Machinery Breakdown, Transport & Cargo and Catastrophic Risks.

José Miguel VarelaTomás Fourcade and Richard Gross, will provide technical and commercial support for local and international assignments run by the office.
