“Assessing the cost of the Mexican earthquakes: How effective was the industry’s management of the catastrophe?” is the interesting topic that will be discussed next May 2018 during the 7th Annual Latin American Insurance & Reinsurance Forum | Miami.

Raúl Losana, CEO at Comando Engineering will discuss among other experienced insurance professionals relevant issues that took place during the recent Mexican earthquake.

Comando Engineering faced mainly two challenges:

  1. The one that refers to the compliance with the current construction regulations in Mexico City and that was published in 2004
  2. Claims for inclinations or settlements of buildings due to the earthquake

The 7th Annual Latin American Insurance & Reinsurance Forum | Miami is the industry’s longest established Miami (re) insurance forum. It is the industry leading conference for insurance and reinsurance professionals in Latin America.
