Role definition:
As a Sr. Treaty Account Executive you will be responsible for day-to-day account handling technical support for Proportional and Excess loss treaty, including but not limited to accounting, negotiating with reinsurers, placing business, renewing policies and maintaining files, in addition to performing a variety of administrative tasks. You will also be expected to assist brokers in maintaining their client relationships as well as developing and maintaining market relationships.

– Insurance Companies in Latin America and Caribbean
– Underwriters (USA, UK, Europe, Asia and Latin America)
– Actuarial and CAT modeling Service providers
– BMS Latin America & Caribbean Brokers
– BMS Inc. and BMS UK teams
Key responsabilities:
– Technical Support including preparation of quarterly account bordereau, premium adjustments and profit
commissions.
– Prepare quotations, cover and debit notes and endorsements related to brokerage accounts
– Handle and maintains brokerage files
– Liaise with clients and markets for day-to-day account queries
– Assist in follow up of open/outstanding items from clients / markets
– Liaise with the Compliance, Accounting and Production departments
– Ensure adherence to procedures

– Effectively Serve client and market accounts needs in an accurate and timely fashion
– Effective communication with the Production and Compliance departments during the placement process
– Ensuring that the best possible service in the market is provided to our clients
Key Competencies (Skills and abilities needed to perform role)
– Minimum 5 years Treaty Reinsurance Experience
– Motivated Team player
– Strong Communication skills
– Administrative skills
– Organized and detail oriented
– Proficient in English and Spanish
– Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
– Facultative experience is welcome
– Bachelor degree
– Authorized to work in the USA, based in Miami
