At ADVANTA, we are pleased to have been invited by Seguros Universal to give a talk to their clients in the Dominican Republic.
The topic of the lecture was ‘Resuming operations and its risks (Post COVID-19)’, focusing on precautions and better practices to be considered in front of the forced interruption and operations’ resume processes.
In this webminar, our Director José Miguel Varela elaborated on property loss prevention and strategies to keep industrial facilities resilient and safe.
In front of the easing of restriction of operations in some countries in the region, but also considering an extension of the interruption due to the resurging of the COVID-19, many businesses face combined and complex challenges.
In summary, an interesting debate was held, in collaboration with Gustavo Spinetta from LEA, about the overall strategy that policyholders and insurers should implement, defining roles, responsibilities and mechanisms to avoid losses driven by shortages of experienced staff, reduced access to contractors and manufacturers, among many other.
